Sjögren's syndrome - can anyone help? Options

JulieM - teh cream I was prescribed is called Epaderm but I have been unable to get it yet - apparently there is a shortage of supply!

hi i have been going to the oral clinic for about 2yrs with a bad sore tonghe and mouth i also suffer with dry eyes.because of r.a they are going to do a biopsie on my mouth to see if it is sjorgrens syndrome so all must be linked to r.a. take care .

Hi Dav 99

First of all, welcome to the forum, but sad you have to have RA to join us.

The usual test for Sjogren's is a kind of blotting paper in the eye - when it is taken out they can tell by the amount of or lack of moisture on the paper.

It's good to know that your team are taking such good care of you and obviously the mouth biopsy will tell them exactly how to treat what sounds like a very painful problem in your mouth.
